Nigerian singer, Ayra Starr has made a strong international chart impact with her latest album *Starrgirl*, which debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard World Albums chart.

The 16-track project, released on 14 August through Mavin Records and Republic Records, entered the chart for the week of 29 August 2026. It trailed three K-pop releases, with Stray Kids’ *This & That* holding the top spot, followed by CORTIS’ *GREEN GREEN* and ATEEZ’s *Golden Hour: Part.5*. South African singer Tyla’s album ranked fifth.

*Starrgirl* is Ayra Starr’s third studio album, following *19 & Dangerous* (2021) and *The Year I Turned 21* (2024). The project features collaborations with Wizkid, Rema, Zayn, Leon Thomas and several other artists.

Beyond the Billboard World Albums chart, the album has also performed well on other international lists, peaking at No. 8 on the UK R&B Albums chart and reaching positions on the UK Album Downloads and French SNEP Albums charts. The debut marks another milestone in the 24-year-old’s growing global profile.
