The Federal Road Safety Corps has redeployed 13 senior officers across different commands and departments. The move was approved by Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed and affects officers in both senior management and operational roles.

According to the Corps, the redeployment is a strategic step aimed at improving operational effectiveness, strengthening institutional capacity and enhancing service delivery. It is intended to bring fresh perspectives and place officers where their experience can deliver the greatest value.

Five Assistant Corps Marshals are among those affected. ACM GO Omiko has been moved from Special Duties and External Relations to head the Operations Department. ACM EF Akinlade now takes charge of Command Administration and Strategy in Operations at the national headquarters in Abuja.

ACM JO Asaolu has been redeployed from the Policy Advisory Unit to head Research, while ACM MB Ibrahim moves from Special Marshals to Special Duties and External Relations. ACM FA Ogidan has been posted as Zonal Commanding Officer of RS10HQ in Sokoto.

The Corps Marshal described the changes as a normal part of a dynamic organisation focused on continuous improvement. He charged the officers to approach their new roles with integrity, professionalism and commitment, noting that every posting is an opportunity to contribute to safer roads across the country. The affected officers have been directed to assume duty immediately.
