NDC to Inaugurate Campaign Council, Commission Abuja Secretariat Monday

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has scheduled the inauguration of its National Campaign Council, presentation of Certificates of Return to its candidates and commissioning of its new national secretariat for Monday, October 26, in Abuja.

The party announced the activities in a statement issued on Sunday by its National Publicity Secretary, Osa Director, outlining three major events planned for the day.

According to the statement, the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) will hold a meeting at 10 a.m. at the JD Vance Centre, opposite A-Class Park, Kashim Ibrahim Way, Maitama, Abuja.

The meeting will be followed by the commissioning of the party’s newly acquired national secretariat in Jabi at 2 p.m.

At 5 p.m., the party will inaugurate its National Campaign Council and present Certificates of Return to its candidates. A dinner is also scheduled to follow the ceremony.

The NDC said attendance at the NEC meeting would be restricted to committee members, with entry granted strictly by invitation.

It added that participation in the campaign council’s inauguration would be limited to members of the National Working Committee, the party’s presidential candidate and running mate, governorship candidates and National Assembly candidates.

The party thanked its members across the country for their continued support and loyalty, reaffirming its commitment to its political vision of building what it described as a new Nigeria.
