Edo APC Chairman Declares Hatred for Peter Obi, Threatens to Spit on Opposition Leaders

The Edo State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Jarrett Tenebe, has expressed strong hostility towards Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), threatening to spit in his face if they meet.

Tenebe made the remarks during a media interview while defending President Bola Tinubu’s administration and explaining his controversial comment about “AK-47 fire.”

The APC chairman also threatened to spit in the faces of Obi and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate, accusing opposition figures of criticising Tinubu.

“If I see them, I will spit in their faces,” Tenebe said.

He singled out Obi for particular criticism, declaring his personal dislike for the former Anambra State governor and using violent imagery to describe how he would confront him.

“As for Obi, I hate him, and I maintain that. If I see him, I will spit in his face and bite his nose,” Tenebe said, adding that he would pretend to whisper something to Obi before biting his ear.

The Edo APC chairman also questioned the compatibility of Obi and his running mate, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, alleging that the two politicians held contradictory positions on certain issues.

He cited their perceived differences over alcohol consumption as an example, questioning how they could work together to govern the country.
