“If You Do For Me I do For You” And What I was Expecting Lere Olayinka to Say

Watching Lere Olayinka on TVC Breakfast this morning, the political analysis centered on the rainbow coalition structures used in Rivers State to deliver victories for the president. But when asked how Wike will deliver Abuja, he failed to mention the Wike strategy of “If you do for me I do for you”. Building directly on that framework, the core strategy championed by the Wike and fully adopted by BAT Ideology is built on a simple, time-tested principle: “If you do for me, I do for you.” This means translating tangible, impactful projects into a direct mandate of votes by showing communities what has been delivered so they naturally reciprocate at the polls. This impact-driven ideology is why securing over 15 million votes for the president is completely realistic, anchored by actual verified footprints across multiple sectors.

BAT-IG footprint spans wide across infrastructure and commercial locations. We have successfully facilitated electricity to 39 commercial locations across different states, with the next phase of 10 locations rolling out in two weeks. Teams are heading to Lagos for scoping in Ikeja, the Lekki phase one, Ilupeju, and Somolu. Up north in Kano, Reliable electricity supply was facilitated to Tokugawa, Zainawa, Jogana Phase II, Sharada industrial estates; Challawa, Bompai, Dakata, Sabon Gari market and the Kano International Market are slated for scoping this week, also in Ikpoba-Okha LGA, Edo State electricity supply was facilitated to Utesi Community and Ologbo Community same for Paikoro in Niger State and Asa in Afo, roughly 40 new commercial locations identified and approved in phases, our impact has actively touched about 20 states, complemented by critical water intervention projects approved and implemented in places like Plateau State where we provided boreholes across the senatorial zones, solar-powered borehole with elevated water storage tank were also constructed in Itobe/Okokenyi Ward, Ofu LGA, Kogi State, Ibadan was not left out as reliable, sustainable potable water supply was restored. We also facilitated the establishment of army Battalion headquarters in Omu-Aran. This are just few from our project.

Beyond commercial infrastructure, our social and humanitarian interventions have transformed lives. Through our concerted efforts, we pushed for support touching approximately 2,000 children of wounded and slain frontline officers, driving an upward review of their parents’ salaries and allowances. The First Lady stepped in by providing about 500,000 Naira each to over 1,300 children of wounded and fallen heroes to start businesses. We also pushed the CNG bus initiative forward, and worked on implementing a mobile clinic for the Sokoto IDP camp alongside various community water projects and approved road initiatives.

As members operating outside formal political offices, BAT-IG influence is authentic. We didn’t make grand campaign promises in 2023 we simply identified critical policy gaps in our communities and stepped up to fill them.

It is also expected that APC will implement its structure all over the country to deliver a lot of votes too, the City boy movement is also there doing some little in its capacity to ensure the reelection on the president

When looking at demographic and block voting projections, the numbers compound rapidly. We are mobilizing at least 1.5 million students who have directly benefited from government policies like the NELFUND; when factored across an average family size of five, that easily translates to massive voter which can amount to 6.5 million. Add in 1.1 million federal civil servants and pensioners on the payroll, military and paramilitary families, and the base expands exponentially, yielding over 20 million baseline votes before even accounting for rainbow coalitions in Rivers State and Abuja which add another 800,000 votes.

I Agree with Lere Olayinka who debbed this as a one-way race. A major point of interest is how the North will vote this time around, following historical political trends. If the North repays this president for what he has done, recognizing that it is the South’s turn, it transforms into an absolute walkover election decided by early afternoon. As Wike noted, there is no state in the North where Tinubu will not comfortably secure the constitutional 25% threshold, whereas Atiku cannot replicate that footprint in any southern state. While Peter Obi may retain some support in the East and among certain demographics due to some uncivilized Christians phobia of religion dominance, the president is positioned to perform remarkably strong across most states including a surprise wave of votes in the East. This is because eastern governors are heavily backing him; Tinubu has empowered these governors financially, and in politics, loyalty follows those who provide resources, just like a wife will always respect and love the husband that provide for her financially.

With all these, i see a landslide election victory in Nigeria that has never happen in record
