Former Big Brother Naija winner, Phyna has accused content creator, Ashmusy of trying to have her removed from a multi-million-naira celebrity boxing deal.

In an Instagram video, Phyna said organisers first approached her in February about a celebrity bout. After another proposed opponent became unavailable, she recommended Ashmusy last week and connected her with the company.

She alleged that Ashmusy later stopped taking her calls and asked the organisers to drop her in favour of someone else.

“Ashmusy, you’re evil,” Phyna said, adding that she had been in talks with the company for about seven months before bringing Ashmusy into the arrangement.

Ashmusy denied trying to push Phyna out. In a statement on Instagram, she said she was uncomfortable fighting Phyna because she was not a professional boxer and had only raised those concerns with the organisers.

The dispute has drawn in other reality stars, including Chichi, who criticised Phyna’s public reaction. The boxing deal itself has not been independently confirmed by the organisers.
