The Bauchi State Independent Electoral Commission has concluded comprehensive logistical and administrative arrangements to ensure the smooth conduct of the local government council elections scheduled for Monday.

Electoral officials confirmed that non-sensitive materials have been distributed across the 20 local government areas, while sensitive election items are being secured under tight surveillance for dispatch to polling units.

To guarantee peaceful proceedings during the exercise, state security agencies have deployed additional personnel across major wards and polling locations to maintain public order and prevent potential electoral violence.

The electoral body reaffirmed its commitment to conducting a transparent, free, and credible poll, calling on registered voters, political parties, and election observers to adhere strictly to guidelines throughout the voting process.
