Hearing Begins June 5 as Court Orders Sowore to Open Defence on Cyber bullying Case

A federal high court in Abuja has directed human rights activist and former presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, to open his defence in an alleged cyberbullying case, with hearing scheduled to commence on June 5.

The ruling was given following proceedings in the matter, paving the way for the defence stage of the trial after the prosecution concluded its case.

The court ordered that Sowore begin presenting his defence when the case resumes on June 5, marking a new phase in the legal proceedings.

The case is expected to continue with the presentation of defence witnesses and other evidence when hearing begins.
