Kidnappers have demanded the huge sum of one billion naira as ransom for the release of 15 worshippers abducted in Ilejemeje, Ekiti State.

The victims were reportedly taken while attending a church programme in the area. The Eleda of Eda-Oniyo, Oba Joseph Awolola, confirmed the development and disclosed the massive ransom demand made by the abductors.

The incident has caused fear and concern among residents in the community and across Ekiti State.
