Kogi PDP Chairman Endorses Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan for 2027 Re-election
The Kogi State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Muhammed Sanni Gambo, has officially endorsed Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan for a second term in the 2027 elections.
This declaration of support was made on Friday, April 24, 2026, during a meeting with a delegation of party members held in Lokoja.
Gambo lauded the Senator, describing her as a “rare breed politician” whose tenure has brought unprecedented visibility and development to the state. He asserted that her time in office has been exceptionally impactful, ranking her among the most effective lawmakers to represent Kogi State since the dawn of the Fourth Republic in 1999.
Reflecting on her service in the 10th National Assembly, the party chairman noted that Akpoti-Uduaghan has distinguished herself through consistent and high-quality representation. He emphasized that her contributions have effectively placed Kogi Central on the national map, earning the respect of her party members and constituents alike.
A significant portion of Gambo’s praise focused on her diverse empowerment programs. He highlighted her sustained commitment to uplifting vulnerable groups, specifically mentioning initiatives designed to support widows, unemployed youths, and small-scale business owners, alongside the provision of essential equipment and learning materials.

He noted that the senator has successfully constructed schools, rehabilitated roads, and upgraded local markets.
