Prime Care Hospitals Denies King Mitchy Died at Its Facility

Prime Care Hospitals, Abuja, has issued an official statement denying reports that social media personality, King Mitchy died at its facility.

In a statement released on Friday, the management of the Abuja-based hospital clarified that King Mitchy was never admitted, treated, or registered as a patient at the hospital, contrary to widespread claims circulating on social media.

The hospital described the reports as false and misleading, stressing that there is no medical record linking the influencer to its facility.

We wish to categorically state that King Mitchy was never a patient at Prime Care Hospitals and did not pass away in our facility,” the statement read.

The denial follows viral posts alleging that the influencer, whose real name is Mukoro Mitchelle, was rushed to a hospital in Abuja after reportedly ingesting a harmful substance and later died despite medical efforts.

The claims sparked widespread reactions and condolences across social media platforms. However, Prime Care Hospitals maintained that the information linking the alleged incident to its facility is inaccurate.

The management said it is working with relevant authorities to trace the source of the misinformation and warned that legal action may be taken against individuals or platforms responsible for spreading false claims.

The hospital further urged members of the public to verify sensitive information through credible and official channels before sharing, especially reports concerning health emergencies or death.
