Ezinne Kalu Hails Otti at 61, Says ‘God Is Indeed in His Own State’

The wife of the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dr. Mrs. Ezinne Ben Kalu, has commended Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, for what she described as transformative leadership, as he marked his 61st birthday.

Speaking during the birthday celebration held in honour of the governor, Mrs. Kalu praised Otti’s achievements in office, noting that his administration has brought renewed hope and visible development to Abia State.

“Thank you for transforming Abia State. You’ve made us recognize that God is indeed in His own state. Please don’t stop your good works,” she said.

Mrs. Kalu, who is the wife of the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu, joined members of the Abia First Family, political stakeholders, and well-wishers in celebrating the governor.

She lauded Otti’s commitment to infrastructural development, improved governance, and people-oriented policies, stating that his leadership style has set a new standard in the state’s political landscape.

Governor Otti, who turned 61, has consistently emphasized transparency, accountability, and service delivery since assuming office.

Supporters at the event described his administration as one focused on restoring public confidence and driving sustainable growth.

The celebration provided an opportunity for political leaders and stakeholders to reflect on the governor’s journey and reaffirm their support for his continued efforts to reposition Abia State for greater progress.
