Simba Flaunts Medical Facilities Energy Storage Solutions
Simba Power has introduced a range of energy storage and hybrid power solutions for healthcare facilities as it seeks to address electricity reliability challenges in the sector.
A statement from the firm said that the company showcased the technologies at the 2026 WHX Medic Exhibition, highlighting battery energy storage systems, hybrid inverter platforms, and grid-connected energy systems designed for hospitals, clinics, laboratories, and other healthcare institutions.
According to the company, the solutions are intended to improve energy reliability, reduce operating costs, and support critical healthcare operations.
Speaking on the development, Simba Power spokesperson, Debdeep Mukherjee, said reliable electricity remains essential for modern healthcare services, including diagnostic equipment, laboratories, imaging centres, and patient care facilities.
“Healthcare providers should be focused on patient outcomes, not worrying about power interruptions,” Mukherjee said. “As healthcare infrastructure continues to evolve across Nigeria, facilities need energy systems that are reliable, efficient, and capable of supporting critical operations around the clock.”
He added that the systems could help organisations reduce reliance on diesel generators, optimise energy consumption, and improve operational efficiency. “The solutions help organisations reduce dependence on diesel generators, optimise energy consumption, and create a more sustainable operating model,” he said.
Mukherjee noted that the initiative reflects the company’s focus on providing energy solutions to critical sectors, supported by local technical expertise and service infrastructure.
The company said reliable energy infrastructure would remain important as healthcare providers continue to invest in medical technology and patient care improvements.
