Remi Tinubu Pleads for Support as President Seeks Second Term
First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu has appealed to Nigerians to support the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general elections, expressing hope that the country will continue on its current development path.
Speaking at a public event, the First Lady said she would like to enjoy the benefits of a better Nigeria in her later years and urged citizens to back efforts aimed at sustaining ongoing reforms and development initiatives.
She noted that the administration has undertaken several programmes targeted at economic growth, infrastructure development, social welfare and youth empowerment, adding that continuity would help consolidate the gains already recorded.
According to her, nation-building requires patience, commitment and collective support from citizens and leaders alike.
Mrs. Tinubu also encouraged Nigerians to remain optimistic about the country’s future, stressing that the government remains focused on improving living conditions and expanding opportunities for all.
Her remarks come as political activities ahead of the 2027 elections continue to gather momentum, with parties and political leaders increasingly outlining their positions and strategies.
