Blaqbonez Sues Odumodublvck for ₦2.5bn Over Sexual Abuse Claims
Rapper, Blaqbonez has filed a ₦2.5 billion defamation lawsuit against fellow artiste Odumodublvck, escalating their long-running public feud into a legal battle.
According to court documents dated July 7, 2026, Blaqbonez is seeking damages, along with additional aggravated compensation, over what he describes as a sustained campaign of defamatory statements, harassment, intimidation, and threats carried out by Odumodublvck.
The lawsuit stems from a series of posts in which Odumodublvck publicly branded Blaqbonez a sexual abuser and alleged that powerful figures within the Nigerian music industry were deliberately shielding him from accountability. In his social media rant, Odumodublvck named several industry figures, including a music journalist, a talent executive, and Chocolate City Music, claiming they were aware of the alleged misconduct but chose to stay silent.
He did not provide evidence to support the claims, and those named have not publicly responded.
The accusations followed an earlier petition filed months prior by a woman identified as Jane Doe, who accused Blaqbonez of harassment, bullying, invasion of privacy, and sharing her private videos without consent. Blaqbonez has consistently denied any wrongdoing connected to that petition, describing it as a calculated attempt to damage his reputation amid industry rivalries, and there has been no public confirmation of any court ruling or conviction tied to the matter.
Responding to the lawsuit, Odumodublvck has stood by his claims, insisting that Blaqbonez is guilty and reiterating that the situation goes beyond a simple industry rivalry. Blaqbonez’s legal team is asking the court to order Odumodublvck to delete the posts, issue a public apology, and refrain from making further statements about him.
The feud between the two rappers, who were once close collaborators on tracks including “Tesla Boy” and “Dollars in the Bank,” has simmered for nearly two years, beginning with subtle jabs over their respective projects in early 2025 before escalating through diss tracks, an incident at the 2025 Headies Awards, and a series of increasingly personal social media exchanges. Odumodublvck has maintained that the conflict is not purely professional, describing it as a deeply personal matter that he feels has been unfairly reduced to entertainment gossip.
