JAMB Announces Printing of 2026 Mop-Up Exam Slips
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that candidates scheduled for the 2026 Mop-Up Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) can now print their examination notification slips.
The announcement was made on Monday, giving candidates the green light to prepare for the upcoming exercise.
The mop-up exam is designed for candidates who missed the main UTME due to technical issues, biometric verification problems, or other genuine reasons. It also accommodates those who could not be scheduled for the regular exam for various technical reasons. The exercise ensures that no candidate is left behind due to circumstances beyond their control.
Candidates are advised to visit the official JAMB portal or designated printing centres to obtain their slips. The notification slip contains important details such as the candidate’s examination date, time, venue, and other essential instructions. JAMB has urged all affected candidates to print their slips as early as possible to avoid last-minute rushing.
The board also reminded candidates to adhere strictly to all examination rules. This includes avoiding prohibited items such as mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, and other electronic devices. JAMB has reiterated its commitment to conducting a fair and credible examination for all candidates taking the mop-up test.
The 2026 mop-up UTME is expected to hold in the coming days across various centres nationwide. Candidates are encouraged to arrive at their designated venues early and to come with their printed slips. JAMB wishes all candidates the best of luck as they prepare for this important examination.
