Asake Announces ‘In God We Trust’ World Tour to Support ‘M$NEY’ Album
Nigerian Afrobeats superstar, Asake has announced a major international concert tour across North America and Europe, riding the wave of his recently released fourth studio album, M$NEY. Dubbed the “In God We Trust Tour,” the 13-date arena run will feature South African Amapiano sensation, Uncle Waffles as a special guest on select dates, bringing together two of Africa’s most compelling live acts on one stage.
The tour is scheduled to kick off on July 4 with a headline performance at Afro Nation in Portimão, Portugal, before moving through some of the world’s most iconic arenas. Confirmed stops include The O2 Arena in London, Barclays Center in New York, and the Accor Arena in Paris, where the tour will wrap. Additional dates have been announced for Toronto, Atlanta, and the Greek Theatre, giving fans across two continents the chance to experience the M$NEY era in full.
The announcement builds on the remarkable reception that M$NEY has received since its May 1 release. The album, which blends Asake’s signature Fuji-influenced sound with Amapiano and global production, features collaborations with Kabza De Small and DJ Snake, and has been praised for expanding his sonic range while preserving the core of what makes him distinctive. Apple Music described the project as his most globally oriented work yet, noting that he manages the balance between authenticity and ambition with striking precision.
The tour also marks a significant step up in scale for Asake in North America. Having sold out Madison Square Garden during his Lungu Boy World Tour in August 2024, he will now perform at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, underlining just how rapidly his profile in the United States has grown. His last stateside outing was a Red Bull Symphonic concert that transformed fan favourites into orchestral arrangements accompanied by Nigerian talking drummers, a show that drew widespread acclaim and further cemented his reputation as a live performer of rare quality.
Ticket presales are scheduled to begin on Wednesday, May 27, at 10 a.m. local time, with general public sales opening on Friday, May 29.
The tour announcement was made alongside the release of the official music video for Gratitude, one of the standout tracks on M$NEY, signalling that Asake intends to push the album’s momentum deep into the second half of 2026.
