Manchester City Forward Explains International Career Decision

Antoine Semenyo has said his decision to represent Ghana at international level was straightforward, despite being eligible to play for other nations.

The forward, who plays for Manchester City, made the disclosure during an interview on the In The Mixer podcast.

Semenyo explained that he chose Ghana after receiving an early call-up, noting that the opportunity to play for the senior national team made the decision clear.

He said he did not seriously consider representing England or France, adding that he was not among the top-ranked options for England at the time.

According to him, committing to the Black Stars at a young age made the process easy and decisive.
