TikTok Star, Peller Escapes Fire as Generator Bursts into Flames

Popular Nigerian TikTok sensation and streamer, Habeeb Hamzat, known as Peller, narrowly escaped a fire incident at his Lagos residence on Saturday morning.

The fire involved his outdoor generator, which was captured in a distressing video shared on his Instagram page.

The footage showed thick flames engulfing the generator while a panicked Peller repeatedly shouted for help. He was seen frantically calling for neighbors or staff to assist in extinguishing the blaze before it could spread to the main building.

The fire was eventually brought under control after a prolonged effort using buckets of water. While the generator was completely destroyed by the intense heat, the main house and its occupants were fortunately spared from any injuries or structural damage.

Fans and followers have since flooded social media with messages of support and relief. Many credited the quick intervention of those on-site for preventing what could have been a major disaster for the young content creator.

As of the time of the report, the exact cause of the generator fire remains unknown and unverified. The incident has sparked a conversation online regarding fire safety and the maintenance of heavy-duty power equipment in residential areas.

This scare comes just months after Peller survived a car accident on the Lekki–Epe Expressway. During that previous incident, he crashed his Mercedes-Benz while on a distressing livestream, making this the second major safety scare for the influencer in a short period.
