Board Releases Lists of Successful NSCDC, NIS, NCoS Applicants

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board has released the names of successful applicants in the recent paramilitary recruitment exercise.

This covers positions in the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS), Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), and related agencies.

The announcement brings hope to many young Nigerians seeking jobs in the security sector.

The board made the information public through a statement by its Secretary, retired Maj.-Gen. Abdulmalik Jibril, on Saturday in Abuja. The successful candidates took part in the online Computer-Based Test held in November 2025. They are now required to proceed to the next stage, which includes physical screening and document verification.

Applicants have been advised to visit the official recruitment portal at https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng between June 15 and 20, 2026, to check their status. They should log in with their application number, upload necessary credentials, and select a preferred date and venue for the screening exercise.

The board warned applicants against paying money to anyone for assistance, stressing that the entire process remains free. It also urged them to ignore fake messages and only rely on official channels for updates to avoid being scammed.

This development highlights the government’s effort to strengthen security agencies through transparent recruitment. Many hope the exercise will lead to the hiring of capable personnel who will serve the country with dedication and integrity. Successful candidates are expected to prepare well for the upcoming screening stage.
