Dangote Praises Tinubu’s Policies at Imo Economic and Investment Summit
Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, has applauded President Bola Tinubu’s economic reforms, describing Nigeria as a “scratch card” whose true value becomes visible only when properly explored.
Speaking on Thursday at the Imo Economic and Investment Summit, Dangote said many investors were beginning to see the positive impact of the administration’s policy direction.
“Nigeria is like a scratch card; you only see the good of it when you scratch the card. Some of us who have scratched the card are seeing the results,” he said, urging stakeholders to appreciate the president’s leadership and commitment to economic transformation.
The business mogul emphasized that sustained reforms, investment-friendly policies, and improved infrastructure are critical for attracting both local and foreign investors. He commended the Imo State Government for hosting the summit, noting that sub-national growth is essential to national progress.
The event brought together government officials, industry leaders, and development partners to discuss opportunities in manufacturing, agriculture, technology, and infrastructure.
Dangote’s remarks come amid ongoing debates about the pace and impact of economic reforms across the country.
