PDP is Architect of its Own Misfortunes for Failing to Settle Differences *Says failure to discipline Wike totally flawed

In a recent conversation, Segun Sowunmi, a prominent Nigerian politician, has come out to express his frustration with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), stating that they are the grandmasters of their own problems.

According to Sowunmi, the PDP’s inability to take responsibility for their actions and their constant bickering have led to their current woes.

Sowunmi pointed out that the PDP’s decision to allow one of their members, Wike, to work for a rival party while still sitting in their party, was a significant contributor to their problems.

He also criticized the party’s leadership for not taking decisive action against Wike, instead choosing to pretend as if they had no knowledge of the situation.

The politician also expressed his disappointment with the PDP’s focus on changing their national chairman, rather than addressing the underlying issues that have plagued the party.

He stated that the party’s constant infighting and lack of direction have made it difficult for them to make progress.

Sowunmi also had some words of advice for the PDP, saying that they need to take responsibility for their actions and stop blaming others for their problems.

He emphasized that no political party does another party a favor, and that the PDP needs to focus on rebuilding themselves rather than expecting others to do it for them.

Using the example of Bola Tinubu, who rebuilt the APC in Lagos after a significant loss, Sowunmi urged the PDP to take a similar approach.

He stated that the party needs to stop being lazy and start taking concrete steps to address their problems, rather than expecting God or others to do it for them.
