Security agencies in Sokoto State have launched an investigation following a reported attack on a community by suspected bandits, which allegedly resulted in the death of a resident and the abduction of another person.

The attackers were said to have stormed the community and carried out the operation, causing panic among residents.

According to reports, one person was reportedly killed during the raid, while another individual was taken away by the assailants.

The Sokoto State Police Command confirmed receiving information about the incident and said investigations are ongoing to verify the circumstances surrounding the reported killing and abduction.
