Shettima Back to Nigeria from AU Summit in Angola

Vice President Kashim Shettima has returned to Nigeria after participating in the African Union summit held in Angola.

Shettima represented Nigeria at the high-level gathering, which brought together African leaders and senior government officials to discuss issues affecting the continent.

During the summit, discussions focused on regional cooperation, economic development, peace and security, as well as strategies for strengthening Africa’s position in global affairs.

The Vice President used the occasion to highlight Nigeria’s commitment to deeper African integration and stronger partnerships among member states.

His participation also provided an opportunity for Nigeria to engage with other African countries on shared challenges and explore areas of cooperation.

Shettima arrived back in the country after completing his engagements in Angola and is expected to resume his official responsibilities.

His return comes as the Federal Government continues to implement its domestic programmes while also strengthening Nigeria’s role in continental affairs.

The Vice President’s attendance at the summit forms part of the administration’s broader diplomatic efforts to deepen Nigeria’s engagement with other African nations.
