A group supporting President Bola Tinubu’s re-election has announced plans to engage leaders of Ohanaeze Ndigbo and elder statesman Chief Emeka Anyaoku in an effort to persuade former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi to withdraw from the 2027 presidential election.

The group said the move is part of a broader strategy to promote political stability and encourage consensus-building ahead of the next general election.

According to its representatives, discussions would be held with respected Igbo leaders and stakeholders who could help facilitate dialogue with Obi regarding the upcoming presidential contest.
