Armed bandits have reportedly kidnapped more than 10 passengers travelling from Yauri in Kebbi State to Abuja on Sunday.

The driver of the vehicle was also abducted during the attack.

A disturbing video circulating from the incident shows one of the victims making a phone call to his mother while a suspected bandit points an AK-47 rifle at the group of abducted passengers. The footage has drawn widespread concern online.

The attack occurred along the route connecting Yauri to Abuja, an area that has faced recurring security challenges. Details of the exact location of the abduction and the current condition of the victims remain limited.
