CEOs of Federal Parastatals Pledge 10 Million Votes for Tinubu

The Forum of Chief Executive Officers of Federal Parastatals has pledged to mobilise at least 10 million votes for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.

The group also appointed Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, as its patron.

A 20-member delegation of the forum made the announcement during a courtesy visit to Akume in Abuja. The decision was contained in a statement signed by Otunba Biodun Ajiboye, chairman of the forum’s publicity committee.

Forum chairman, Dr. Kazeem Raji, who is also Director-General of the National Board of Technology Incubation, said the appointment recognised Akume’s leadership and experience in coordinating government institutions.

He added that the forum would support Tinubu’s re-election through lawful, peaceful and issue-based engagement.

Ajiboye described the CEOs as the real work engine of the administration because they implement government policies. He said the forum planned to communicate the government’s programmes and achievements while also providing channels for citizens’ feedback.

In response, Akume, represented by Permanent Secretary Augusta Warrens, thanked the forum for the honour. He pledged continued support for stronger inter-agency cooperation and urged members to do more in communicating government achievements and countering disinformation.
