Pastor David Ibiyeomie, founder of Salvation Ministries, has strongly condemned internet fraud, commonly known as Yahoo.

He warned Christians against associating with people involved in the practice and said it should be treated as theft.

Speaking during a sermon, the pastor said some individuals involved in online fraud still attend church without remorse. He insisted that taking money that belongs to someone else, no matter how it is presented, remains stealing.

Ibiyeomie recounted the case of a university professor and electrical engineer who allegedly lost all the savings in his account to fraudsters and later collapsed and died. He used the example to highlight the human cost of such activities.

The cleric urged anyone close to people involved in internet fraud to distance themselves immediately. He said the actions of those engaged in the practice have caused serious harm and even loss of life for some victims.
Ibiyeomie went further to tell anyone involved in the activity who attends his church to leave and take their offerings elsewhere. He stressed that the church should not provide cover for people whose actions hurt others.
