The Cross River State Government has commenced the implementation of a compulsory health insurance programme for civil servants across the state.

The initiative is designed to improve access to affordable healthcare for government workers and reduce the financial burden associated with medical treatment.

Under the scheme, civil servants are expected to enrol in the state’s health insurance programme and contribute through an agreed payroll deduction.
