The National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru, has visited Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke. The meeting formed part of discussions on securing the state for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.

Basiru who disclosed details of the visit said the discussions centred on delivering Osun State for the President in 2027, in line with the governor’s earlier promise.

During the visit, Basiru also congratulated Adeleke on his victory at the polls. He expressed appreciation to the governor for attending the burial of his late mother.

The APC National Secretary described the engagement as both a congratulatory visit and an opportunity to discuss political cooperation. He noted that the governor had already pledged to deliver Osun for Tinubu in the next presidential election.

The meeting highlights ongoing efforts within the ruling party and the state government to build support for the President ahead of 2027. Both sides appear focused on translating the governor’s commitment into organised mobilisation across Osun State.
