Nigeria international, Samuel Chukwueze has been named Man of the Match after helping AC Milan secure a 2-1 victory over Torino at the Stadio Olimpico Grande on Sunday night. The winger played a key role in the team’s performance.

Chukwueze featured as a wing-back under manager Ruben Amorim and set up Adrien Rabiot for Milan’s second goal in the 67th minute. His assist proved decisive in securing the three points for the Rossoneri.

The 27-year-old also created a game-high four chances and recorded nine touches in Torino’s box, the joint-most by any player in the match. Torino struggled whenever he accelerated, particularly during Milan’s strong first-half attacks down his flank.

Chukwueze has made an impressive start to life after returning to the club following his loan spell with Fulham in the Premier League last season. His display against Torino underlined his growing influence in the side.

He will hope to produce a similar performance when AC Milan host Venezia in their next Serie A fixture at the San Siro.
