Troops of Sector 2, Operation Hadin Kai, have dismantled multiple insurgent hideouts and logistics camps belonging to the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) during ongoing clearance operations across Yobe State.

Following targeted intelligence gathering, security forces executed tactical clearance drives into known terrorist strongholds and staging bases within the state.

During the operations, troops engaged fleeing insurgents, destroyed temporary shelters and makeshift logistics hubs, and recovered various weapons, ammunition, and operational equipment abandoned by the militants.

Military commanders confirmed that ground troops, supported by air interdiction units, are maintaining aggressive patrols and surveillance across key corridors to prevent insurgent regrouping, safeguard surrounding local communities, and ensure peace across the general area.
