Nigerian Scholar Earns Ph.D. at Age 25

Dr. Priscilla Asikhia has made headlines as one of Nigeria’s youngest Ph.D. holders after completing her doctorate at just 25 years old.

She obtained the degree from Babcock University in Ilisan, Ogun State, becoming the youngest Ph.D. graduate of the institution.

Her academic journey began early. She started university education at the age of 15 and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at 19. She went on to complete her Master’s degree at 22 before proceeding to the doctoral programme.

The achievement has drawn widespread praise and is being celebrated as an inspiring example of dedication and academic excellence.

Many have described her success as a remarkable milestone for young Nigerian scholars.
