Troops Arrest Two Suspected Terrorist Informants at Borno Market
Troops of Operation HADIN KAI have apprehended two suspected terrorist informants during a targeted operation at a local market in Borno State.
Acting on precise intelligence regarding logistics support and surveillance activities conducted for insurgent groups, military personnel infiltrated the market area and covertly secured the suspects.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the individuals were involved in gathering intelligence on troop movements and coordinating the supply of essential commodities and fuel to Boko Haram and ISWAP elements operating within the forest enclaves.
Military authorities confirmed that both suspects have been taken into custody for detailed interrogation to unravel their network, trace logistics pipelines, and identify other accomplices.
Security forces have since heightened surveillance across markets and major transit hubs in the region to intercept clandestine supply lines supporting terrorist operations.
