Countryside Group has signed social media influencer, hypeman and entertainer Omotore Adebayo Barry, popularly known as Whiteman or Fakepoco, as its newest brand ambassador.

The appointment was formalised during a signing ceremony, with the company describing the partnership as part of its strategy to strengthen brand visibility, deepen customer engagement and expand its presence across Africa.

Under the agreement, Fakepoco will serve as the official ambassador for the group’s three flagship brands—CTC Taxi, Countryside Travels & Tours and BlowPay.

Speaking at the event, Chairman of Countryside Group, High Chief Dr. Ndubisi George Ugo, said the collaboration reflects the company’s commitment to building stronger connections with customers through influential personalities.

He described Fakepoco as a respected entertainer whose personality and values align with the company’s vision of innovation, excellence and customer satisfaction.

According to him, the partnership is expected to enhance the visibility and growth of the group’s brands while strengthening their market presence.

Reacting to his appointment, Fakepoco expressed appreciation to the management of Countryside Group for the opportunity, describing the partnership as more than a commercial endorsement.

He said he was excited to be associated with a company driving innovation in transportation, travel and digital payment services, adding that he would promote the brands with commitment and professionalism.

As part of his responsibilities, the entertainer will feature in advertising campaigns, media engagements, digital marketing initiatives, community outreach programmes and other promotional activities aimed at increasing public awareness and supporting the continued growth of CTC Taxi, Countryside Travels & Tours and BlowPay.
