Tinubu’s Policies Strengthening Nigeria’s Economy, Says Yilwatda

Tinubu’s Policies Strengthening Nigeria’s Economy, Says Yilwatda The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nentawe Yilwatda, has said that the economic policies introduced by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu are strengthening Nigeria’s economy and positioning the country for sustainable growth.

Yilwatda made the assertion while addressing party stakeholders, where he defended the administration’s reform agenda and highlighted what he described as significant progress recorded under the Tinubu government.

According to the APC chairman, the administration inherited deep-rooted economic challenges that required bold and sometimes difficult decisions.

He noted that reforms implemented by the government are aimed at stabilising the economy, improving investor confidence, increasing government revenue, and creating opportunities for long-term development. He acknowledged the economic difficulties currently being experienced by many Nigerians but insisted that the policies are beginning to produce positive results.

Yilwatda said improvements in key sectors, including infrastructure development, energy, agriculture, and investment inflows, demonstrate that the country is moving in the right direction.

The APC chairman also dismissed criticisms from opposition parties, arguing that many of the narratives being promoted against the government do not accurately reflect the realities on the ground.

He maintained that the ruling party remains focused on delivering on its promises to Nigerians rather than engaging in political distractions. Other APC leaders echoed Yilwatda’s position, stating that President Tinubu’s economic reforms are laying the foundation for a stronger and more resilient economy.

They urged Nigerians to remain patient as the government continues to implement policies designed to address longstanding structural challenges.

The party leaders further stressed that recent gains in economic indicators and ongoing infrastructure projects across the country are evidence that the administration’s policies are yielding results.

They reaffirmed the APC’s confidence in President Tinubu’s leadership and dismissed opposition claims that the government has failed to improve the country’s economic fortunes.

The APC leadership expressed optimism that continued implementation of the Renewed Hope Agenda would deliver greater economic stability, job creation, and improved living standards for Nigerians in the coming years.
