Davido Set to Perform at FIFA World Cup 2026 Countdown Concert in Los Angeles
FIFA has announced that Nigerian music star, Davido Adeleke, will perform at the Los Angeles edition of the FIFA World Cup 2026 Countdown Concert series scheduled for June 10.
In a statement released on Tuesday, the global football governing body said the concert will also feature , with additional performers expected to be unveiled in the coming days.
The Los Angeles event is part of a coordinated concert series being staged across the three host nations of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and as preparations intensify for the global football tournament.
According to FIFA, the concert will take place at the in Los Angeles, with doors opening at 5 p.m. local time and the live broadcast beginning an hour later.
The organisation described the event as a celebration of music, football and culture, bringing together fans from across the world in the lead-up to the tournament.
FIFA also disclosed that performances from Los Angeles will be linked with live shows taking place simultaneously in and , creating a cross-border entertainment experience involving all three host countries.
Speaking on the initiative, said the concert series reflects the spirit of unity and cultural exchange that defines the World Cup.
He noted that Los Angeles, regarded as one of the world’s leading entertainment hubs, would host a memorable celebration featuring internationally recognised talent just days before the tournament opens in the United States.
FIFA said tickets for the event would go on sale from June 3, while the concert will be streamed worldwide through its digital platforms.
The governing body added that a live broadcast will be available through its official social media channels, including its World Cup TikTok account, while full performances and behind-the-scenes footage will later be released on FIFA’s on-demand video platform, VuMe Live.
