LASTMA Rescues Two Trapped Victims in Multi-Vehicle Crash

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) has successfully rescued two people trapped in a serious multi-vehicle accident.

The crash involved several vehicles and caused significant damage along the Motorway inward Toll-Gate corridor in the Ogudu-Alapere area of Lagos.

LASTMA officials acted quickly to free the victims from the wreckage.

The accident caused traffic disruption in the area as emergency responders worked to clear the scene. The two rescued victims were immediately provided with medical attention. LASTMA officers also ensured that the affected vehicles were moved to restore normal traffic flow as soon as possible.

Road accidents remain a major concern in Lagos due to the high volume of vehicles and sometimes reckless driving. LASTMA’s swift response in this incident has been praised by many road users who witnessed the operation.

The agency continues to appeal to motorists to drive carefully and obey traffic rules at all times.

This latest rescue operation highlights the important role of LASTMA in saving lives during emergencies on Lagos roads. The agency has urged drivers to remain vigilant, especially during peak periods when the chances of crashes are higher. Proper vehicle maintenance and responsible driving can help reduce such incidents.

As investigations into the cause of the crash continue, many residents hope that stronger safety measures will be put in place to prevent future accidents. LASTMA’s quick action in rescuing the trapped victims has once again shown their commitment to road safety and emergency response in the state.
