She noted that the Federal Government is receiving support from foreign partners in tackling security threats and expressed optimism that peace and stability would soon be restored nationwide.

The First Lady also called on Nigerians to remain prayerful, saying the country would overcome its current challenges.

Mrs Tinubu thanked the people of Ekiti State for the reception accorded her and specifically acknowledged Governor Biodun Oyebanji and his wife, Olayemi Oyebanji, for their hospitality. She also appreciated the state’s traditional rulers for supporting President Tinubu during the 2023 presidential election.

As part of her visit, Mrs Tinubu presented a Business Recapitalisation Grant of N100 million to 2,000 female petty traders in the state. She explained that each beneficiary would receive N50,000 to help support their businesses and families.
