Niger Completes Airlift of 2,281 Pilgrims to Saudi Arabia

The Niger State Government has successfully completed the transportation of 2,281 pilgrims to Saudi Arabia for the annual pilgrimage, marking a major step in ensuring citizens fulfil an important religious obligation.

The exercise, which was carried out through a coordinated airlift process, reflects the government’s efforts to provide smooth travel arrangements and adequate support for pilgrims embarking on the spiritual journey.

Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago commended the agencies and officials involved in the operation, highlighting the importance of proper planning and teamwork in making the process successful.

According to state officials, the transportation exercise was carefully managed to ensure that pilgrims departed safely and comfortably, while necessary travel procedures were completed efficiently.

The annual pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia remains one of the most significant spiritual experiences for Muslims, drawing participants from across the world.
