Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin has distributed 47 cars and 287 motorcycles to his constituents in Kano North.

The gesture was designed to ease transportation struggles for ordinary people in the area. Many residents rely on these vehicles for daily work and trade.

Senator Barau Jibrin explained that his action was inspired by President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. He said the agenda encourages leaders to touch lives in practical ways. According to him, giving vehicles and motorcycles is not about politics but about real help.

The beneficiaries included traders, farmers, women leaders, and youth groups from across Kano North. Each car and motorcycle was handed over with a clear message of service. Local party officials helped ensure the items reached ordinary residents and not just powerful figures.

Political observers noted that this is one of the largest single distributions by a northern leader in recent months. Barau Jibrin, however, played down political praise. He said he was only doing his duty as a representative of the people.

In the end, the Deputy Senate President called on wealthy individuals in the area to join hands with government. He promised to do more in the coming months for Kano North. The crowd responded with cheers and chants of support for their senator.
