DSS Arraigns El-Rufai over Alleged Tapping of Ribadu’s Phone
The Department of State Services has arraigned former Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai, over allegations of unlawfully accessing a telephone conversation involving the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu.
El-Rufai, a former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, was brought before a Federal High Court in Abuja on an amended five-count charge.
At the start of proceedings on Thursday, the prosecution told the court that the number of charges had been increased from three to five.
