Soludo Tasks Royal Fathers to Work With Government in Restoring South East Glory

Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, has called on traditional rulers in the South East region of Nigeria to work together with the region’s governors to restore the region to its former glory.
He made this appeal during a meeting of the South-East Traditional Rulers’ Council in Awka, which aimed to promote unity and cooperation for regional development.
Governor Soludo emphasized the importance of collaboration between traditional rulers and governors, stating that their combined efforts can bring about significant progress.
He also highlighted the need to recognize and celebrate the diversity of cultures within the region, while acknowledging the strength that comes from unity.
Soludo expressed concern that the Igbo culture has changed significantly over time, and that the values of hard work, enterprise, and integrity are being eroded.
He attributed this decline to the celebration of ill-gotten wealth and other vices, and called for a renewed focus on these traditional values.
The governor’s remarks suggest that he is committed to working with traditional rulers and other stakeholders to address the social and economic challenges facing the South East region, and to promote a sense of unity and shared purpose among the Igbo people.
By emphasizing the importance of traditional values and cultural heritage, Soludo is seeking to inspire a new generation of leaders and citizens to work together to build a brighter future for the region.
