Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State has congratulated Muslims in the state, across Nigeria and around the world on the successful completion of Ramadan and the celebration of Eid al-Fitr.
In a statement issued on Wednesday by his Director of Press and Public Affairs, Gyang Bere, the governor urged Muslims to sustain the virtues of sacrifice, discipline, love, charity, tolerance and unity observed during the fasting period.

He called on Muslims to pray for the nation’s leaders, asking for divine guidance to support responsive and people-oriented governance.
The governor also urged Plateau State-sponsored Hajj pilgrims to represent the state positively and offer prayers for peace, unity and progress in both the state and the country.
Reaffirming his administration’s commitment to inclusive governance, Mr Mutfwang assured residents of continued efforts to protect lives and property, improve welfare and promote sustainable development.
He further appealed to Nigerians, irrespective of religious or ethnic background, to support initiatives that encourage peace, respect for the rule of law and socio-economic development, while pledging policies aimed at supporting vulnerable groups and ensuring equal opportunities for all.
