Fubara Lauds Mothers’ Role in Shaping Families, Communities

Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has commended mothers for their crucial role in building strong families and stable communities, describing them as pillars of society whose contributions remain vital to social development.

In a message to mark Mothering Sunday, the governor praised mothers across the state for their sacrifices, resilience and unwavering commitment to nurturing children and instilling values that strengthen society.

Fubara said mothers play a central role in shaping the moral foundation of families and communities through their dedication to raising responsible and productive citizens.

According to him, their efforts in guiding and supporting families help foster unity, peace and progress within society. The governor noted that motherhood represents compassion, strength and perseverance, stressing that mothers often make personal sacrifices to ensure the wellbeing and success of their children.

He added that the impact of mothers extends beyond the home, as they also contribute significantly to community development and nation-building through their influence in shaping future leaders.

Fubara further encouraged families and communities to continue appreciating and supporting mothers, acknowledging their tireless efforts in maintaining harmony and stability within households.
