Nigeria and Morocco faced each other in a semifinal match at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat on Wednesday night.

The game started at 9pm Nigerian time and ended in a penalty shootout after regulation and extra time produced no winner.

Both teams played the full 90 minutes without a decisive goal. Match officials then added thirty minutes of extra time, but neither side was able to break the deadlock. The semifinal therefore moved to penalties to decide the finalist.

In the penalty shootout, Morocco converted four kicks while Nigeria scored two. The shootout ended with Morocco leading four to two.
