BAT Ideological Group Moves to Institutionalize Tinubu’s Political Ideology as APC Chairman Aligns With Vision
The BAT Ideological Group (BIG) has intensified efforts to institutionalize the political ideology of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu following the endorsement of the initiative by the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nentawe Yilwatda.
The Convener of the group, Comrade Bamidele Atoyebi, disclosed this during an online interview, explaining that the group was established to help party members and political stakeholders fully embrace Tinubu’s political philosophy and methodology.
Atoyebi revealed that the BAT Ideological Group has gone beyond functioning as a political movement to establishing a formal center dedicated to Tinubu’s ideology, policies, and politics.
According to him, the center offers certifications at postgraduate, master’s, PhD, and diploma levels in politics.
“All these efforts are aimed at helping people to learn and become walking carriers of Tinubu’s political ideology,” he said.
He expressed delight that the vision that birthed the BAT Ideological Group is gaining acceptance, stressing that political actors who align with Tinubu’s ideology stand to achieve long-term relevance.
Atoyebi said the alignment of the APC National Chairman with the vision of the BAT Ideological Group signals a stronger ideological foundation and a more promising future for the ruling party.
“The main reason I set up the BAT Ideological Group was to help people embrace the political ideology of President Tinubu, especially within our party,” he said. “It is good to know that the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress has embraced the idea.”
According to him, the group has remained committed to raising individuals who understand and apply President Tinubu’s political methodology, which he described as worthy of institutional study.
Atoyebi described President Tinubu as a unique political figure whose leadership style and political strategies can be replicated across Africa and beyond.
“We see him as a special political being whose political steps can be followed all across Africa and the world at large,” he stated.
He recalled a previous interview in which he said that former United States President Donald Trump could have benefited from studying Tinubu’s leadership approach if not for the fact that he operates within a developed country.
With the APC National Chairman’s endorsement, Atoyebi called on party members and non-party members to align with the ideology and participate in the initiative.
“As the National Chairman of APC has embraced it, we encourage other party members and non-party members to do so and become disciples,” he added
