Tinubu Felicitates with Soludo on Re-election, Hails His Visionary Leadership
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo of Anambra State on his re-election, describing the victory as a clear endorsement of his visionary leadership and transformative governance.
In a statement released from the State House, President Tinubu said Soludo’s triumph at the polls reflected the trust and confidence the people of Anambra have in his administration’s policies and achievements over the past four years.
He noted that the outcome of the election was a testament to Soludo’s commitment to good governance, economic reform, and infrastructural development in the state.
“The people of Anambra have spoken clearly through the ballot,” Tinubu said. “Governor Soludo’s re-election is a resounding vote of confidence in his leadership and the progress recorded under his stewardship. I commend his dedication to building a more prosperous and secure Anambra.”
The President also lauded the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security agencies for ensuring a peaceful and credible exercise, commending Anambra citizens for their orderly participation in the democratic process.
He further pledged continued cooperation between the federal government and the Anambra State government to advance development efforts in the Southeast.
Tinubu urged Soludo to remain magnanimous in victory and to extend a hand of reconciliation to his political opponents for the sake of unity and continued progress in the state.
Governor Soludo, a former Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) governor and the candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), made history as one of the few Anambra leaders to secure a second term in office.
His administration has been praised for its initiatives in education, infrastructure, and public sector reforms, which have earned him broad support across the state.
President Tinubu expressed optimism that Soludo’s second term would consolidate the gains of his first and deepen development efforts that would benefit not just Anambra, but Nigeria as a whole.
