Tinubu Will Never Back Another Party, Boasts Anambra APC Candidate Ukachukwu

The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Anambra State, Nicholas Ukachukwu, has expressed confidence that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will not support any candidate outside the ruling party in the forthcoming governorship election in the state.

Ukachukwu, who spoke on Thursday while addressing party stakeholders and supporters, described President Tinubu as a “true party man” who has always demonstrated loyalty and commitment to the ideals and candidates of the APC.

According to him, insinuations that the President might secretly back another party’s candidate in Anambra were baseless and mischievous.

“President Tinubu has always been known for standing by his party. He built his political career on loyalty and consistency, and I have no doubt that he will fully support the APC to win in Anambra,” Ukachukwu said.

He assured party members that the APC is fully prepared to take over leadership in Anambra through issue-based campaigns and grassroots mobilization, adding that the forthcoming election presents an opportunity for the state to align with the ruling party at the centre.

Ukachukwu further appealed to residents of the state to give the APC a chance to deliver quality governance, economic growth, and infrastructural development under the Renewed Hope agenda of President Tinubu.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is expected to release the official timetable for the Anambra governorship election in the coming months.
