Emulate Alex Otti’s Model of Good Governance, Jonathan Charges Politicians

Former President Goodluck Jonathan has called on Nigerian politicians to take a cue from Governor Alex Otti of Abia State, commending his style of leadership and commitment to good governance.

Speaking at a public forum over the weekend, Jonathan praised Otti’s strides in infrastructure, healthcare, and economic reforms, noting that such achievements reflect the true spirit of servant leadership.

“Governor Alex Otti is demonstrating what it means to prioritize the people. His administration is focused on development, transparency, and accountability.

“I urge other leaders across the country to emulate this approach for the betterment of our nation,”Jonathan counseled.

Jonathan, who has been vocal about the importance of democracy and good governance since leaving office, stressed that Nigeria’s progress depends largely on leaders who are genuinely committed to service rather than personal gain.

Governor Otti, a former banker turned politician, has been widely acknowledged for implementing policies aimed at revitalizing the Abia economy, improving public services, and curbing corruption in government circles.

The former president’s comments have sparked discussions across political circles, with many interpreting them as a timely reminder ahead of upcoming elections in various parts of the country.

Jonathan concluded by reiterating that “good governance is not about party lines but about delivering results that improve the lives of the people.”
